Apart from the obvious way of improving the quality of my photographs of course! But I've had an account for weeks now and only have 25 views!. I am a member of about 5 groups and have contributed to all of them at least twice!. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to enlighten me!

Like has been mentioned, post on forums and link back to your photos!. On flickr, join more groups and build up your contacts list!. It is hard work though!. The views/comments/favourites element of flickr is quite a social scene and you need to establish yourself on it to get results!. Earlier this year on a forum I belong to, we had ' The Great flickr Pimping Experiment'!. A group of us picked a previously unposted shot and all posted them at the same time!. Then for a week we just pimped our shots all over flickr!. It feels a bit desperate but it certainly worked!. My photo got about 150 views, 5 favourites and 28 comments!. But that's absolutely small potatoes!. There are shots I came across during the experiment that have to date got thousands of views, hundreds of comments and favourites!. There's no doubt though, that the groups to join if you want comments and such are the groups that have rules like 'post 1, comment 5' or the award groups that give away strange little icons/gifs!. One massive bonus was that I also expanded my contacts list!. Great, because even if I don't get many more views and comments (not really why I go on), I do get to see loads of quality photos from my contacts!. But you're also right about taking better shots!. A friend of mine regularly gets around 50 comments per photo posted!. Primarily because they're superb, but also because his contact list is huge, he's very active on flickr and he posts to tons of groups!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Are you tagging your photos!? Tags are how people find photos that interest them!. Make sure you are tagging your images appropriately!. Join more groups! Shoot more photos and contribute more!. Being active in the group community will give your images more exposure, especially if you are contributing to groups that fit your images!. Have you added contacts!? When you find people whose images are similar to yours, add them as a contact!. Make sure you're tagging your photos so they can come up in searches and join as many groups as you can and add to their photo pools!. Adding your images to group pools will get you the best exposure!. I had the same problem until I started adding my images to different pools - still it's not like I have thousands of views!. Post a link to it here and ask for critiques, that'll do it too!. As you said already, creating images people will want to look at helps out too!. I've had a flickr account longer than my dA account, and my dA page gets way more views!.!.!.!.!.!.go figure!.
