Do you do this with colors and numbers?

Question: Do you do this with colors and numbers!?

When I was young, I started a rather odd habit of catagorizing colors as either "odd" or "even"!. Like for instance, red and blue are even, green and orange are odd!. Does anyone else do this or anything like it!. I have no idea why I do this, it just popped in my head when I was young that certain colors have to be odd or even and it's stuck with me my entire life!.!.!.!.lol It's like where most people see colors, I see numbers!. =/Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sounds like you have synesthesia!. It's where your senses get a bit "overlapped" like you've mentioned!. It's not dangerous or anything, just pretty cool =)

It seems like what you are calling "even" colors are primary colors!. Red, Blue (and yellow) are primary colors!.

Green and Orange are secondary colors, meaning they are creating by mixing two primaries!. Blue + Yellow = Green, Red + Yellow = Orange!.

So it seems like you are calling primary colors "even" and secondary colors "odd"!. Does that help!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not with odd and even, but I associate colours with numbers!. I always assumed everyone did this!. I also find that sounds have colours!. I'm not too worried about it, though, since it's always been like that!. I understand that to some extent most people do this and it is quite normal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I do similar things to that!.
Sometimes I see a number when looking at a color, sometimes I have the idea of odd or even numbers, Sometimes its the reverse, a number will make me think of a color!. Very wierd, but not worth freaking out over!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
