Can It Be Done Right On a Camera!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The post above is absolutely accurate, it's a vignette, often created artificially iin post production!. Vignettes sometimes also appear in long exposures, perhaps 1 second or more, particularly at night due the way that light enters through the lens!. To answer your question about programs, adobe lightroom has a feature to help create a dark or light vignette, viewable in the 'develop' section of this workflow program!. I have used this for the post production of some wedding shots, such as close ups of wedding dress features etc!. Www@QuestionHome@Com It's called vignetting!. You can probably do it artificially, but if you really want to do it in camera you can probably roll a black piece of cardboard or construction paper around the lens and keep inching it forward until it gets in your shot!. Put it this way - that effect was usually from having a lens hood that was too big for your lens's focal length!. It would get in the shot but not be in the depth of field so stuff just got a little darker and obscured!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
