The difference is that the mirror is a flat 2 dimensional representation of you!. The camera is taking a 3 dimensional picture of you and placing it on a 2D surface!. This attempt is what makes you look larger!. This is a universal problem for everyone, hence the common phrase "the camera adds 10 pounds"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It could just be a bad camera!. I have a similar problem: When I take a picture of myself, my skin looks terrible!. But in the mirror or photos taken by other people, my skin looks fine!.

It's probably because of how close the camera is to you when the photo is taken!. The angles get skewed at only an arms-length distance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Get a piece of glass put ur finger under it, it looks the same this represents a mirror, but then get a magnifying glass put your finger under it it looks fatter, this represents a camera, its all to do with the lens on the cameraWww@QuestionHome@Com

its what you wanna see i actaully believe a picture more then in real life mirror you know!.!.!. but alos it could be the angle in which the picture is taken!.!.!.!.

or just get a pair of new eyes!.!.

accept yourself dude!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Cheap point and shoot or camera phones usually have wide angle lenses which distort proportions!.
