Question: Wedding photographer release copyright of images!.!.!?
Okay so my photographer is a scam artist!. He has scammed many brides out of money and is filing for bankruptcy and is shutting down his shop this month!! He has told me he will sign me over the rights!.!. He gave me the cd but didn't sign over the rights!. When and if I get a hold of him I need him to sign them over, what can I write stating that he gives me full use of all the images and takes away all his rights!? Please I really need help asap!! thanks He still owes me a album and enlargements that I'm NOT getting since he's going bankrupt but has offered to sign over the rights!.!. I just want something he can sign that is LEGIT! I paid him in full already and there's no use in suing at this point I just want the rights to my images!. The second posted form will do everything you need!. Make sure it is witnessed by a third and or notarized as he does not seem the type of guy that you can trust!.

You need to make printed copies of the images, many on a page, recognizable, and Photographer needs to acknowledge releasing all the rights for the images!. Should be easy!.!.!.

But!.!.!. releasing all the rights is not common practice!. Why do you inssist of having them!? Since you have unlimited usage, why bother!?

Here is a sample of a copyright release form, you can type it using yours and the photographer's name and have him sign it!. You shouldn't have trouble after getting it signed but it might not be a bad idea to get it notarized as well!.
