I have encountered a similar question somewhere else!.!.!.this is what I said;
"First of all, start with some simple doodles, then start working on the proportions!. It is not a very good idea to jump right into drawing animes before having to have learned to draw a person's face realistically!.

So!.!.my suggestion is have a couple of portrait pictures in front of you, practice drawing them!. When you get a sense of the distance between the eyes, the nose, the ears where the mouth should be, the neck line, the hair, forehead etc, you're ready to go!.

But it all will take time!.!.!.I've been drawing ever since I can't remember!.!.!.(since 3rd grade I think, I'm in 12th grade now), especially animes and manga, but yeah, I still feel like I need more practice!. Those I used to think were really well drawn!.!.!.don't look good to me 1-2 years after!.

So it all will take time, but eventually, you will be good at it :)"

Attending art institutions might and might not help, but it would give you a better idea of how you could start off!. But that's only just one way!. Not all comic/manga artists suddenly became able to draw them well, but they went through different phases to get to where they are now!.
Being able to draw a person by the proportion and the human anatomy is important, so you can easily modify them the way you want them to look like - and make them look natural at the same time as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I see, well in that case read up into gesture drawings (quick sketches) of people in very dynamic poses, and read some books on perspective!. I would maybe check out a book on how to draw like Marvel/DC and learn some pen/ink tones from that!. There is many ways to get what you want accomplished, I would also try drawing real images, like people and after you can get some roughly completed, get some tracing paper, and use that to trace the outline and add/subtract muscle, clothing and other things to get what you need accomplished!. I've done a few comics myself, but they are more traditional anime/manga stuff!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
