Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you're drawing directly on the canvas, you can use any media to sketch your piece!. I prefer drawing pencils, then once the general sketch is done, I do a finished trace with an art pen, wait like 5 minutes till it dries, then erase the pencil so that it won't blend with my paint!. The pen stays on the canvas, you you can have a better control with the general shape!. That's me, though!. If you're drawing over the acrylic paint, you can use a soft charcoal, but keep in mind it will dull easily so you may need to re-sharpen, depending on the stroke you're going for!. also, be sure to blow on the piece (preferably with a can of compressed air, but you can use our breath) to remove the bigger particles of charcoal dust!. The dust could blend with the paint!. Kind of a long answer, but hope this help!Www@QuestionHome@Com |
