it is ok as is,

you could try using flour or chalk dust in air to add beams or rays of lights, or smoke fog effects, the way trunk /box is viewed is appears more like Pandora's box, instead of a mystical portal to otherworld, you could try using fish eye or birds eye effects, make entrance larger for person, or maybe make person smaller like Alice in wonderland, use fireworks sparklers to create swirl from inside to outside, have fun,?
