That is correct, but also, many lenses have markings of some sort on them to indentify correct side!. Mine, (Accuvue), have the numbers 123 on the outer edge!. If you can read the numbers correctly, the lens is not inside out!. Other lenses may have a logo or something on them!. These markings are VERY faint and near the edge of the lens!. Not all brands of lenses have markings on them though!.

Usually the lens box will show if there is a marking of some sort on the lens!.

If they are put on inside out, you will see back wards and heaven forbid you get them on up side down, cause then you will try to walk around on your head!.!.!.

But never, NEVER do both and switch them right for left!.!.

You will be cross eyed, see back wards and walk around on your head!.!.!.
