It would be a good idea to look at Situationist art from the era in France!. The Situationists were radicals and artists who mainly produced images as a group which they appropriated from everywhere!. They are not responsible for that processed image of Che Guevara -- that was Irish cartoonist Jim Fitzpatrick who is better known for illustrating Irish Legends in a comic book style (when most of those pictures were done in the middle to late seventies they were actually seen as somewhat cutting edge)!.

Aesthetically there is no problem with your use of the image!. It's appropriated all the time!. You aren't being visually ambitious -- so you aren't likely to suffer the fate of Mr!. Fitzpatrick who is rarely compensated for what he did to Che, but never expected to be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

as i recall the image in the magazine that year (however it was long ago), the image you produced is true to it in all aspects!.
