Question: Wacom Intuos3 tablet not working!?
I had just bought my tablet 2 days ago, and I cut it on tonight, and noticed that when I put the pen on the corner of the sensitivity pad on my tablet, it didn't go to the corner of the computer screen!.

When I put the pen on one corner, and try and drag it to the one across from it on the sensitivity pad, it would only move a few inches in the direction across the computer screen, causing me to repeatedly lift the pen back the corner and drag it again to the other corner, basically getting the slack out of it, and it took me about 3 time before it finally made it to other corner on the computer screen!.

The little sidebars on it, the can make the canvas on painter essentials 4 bigger and smaller by either sliding my finger on it, stopped working completely!.

And while on painter essentials 4, I went to "Edit", and then clicked on "Brush Tracking!.!.!." and everything works fine, except the sensitivity!. Normally you just lightly stroke the pen, and it leaves a light trail of paint, and if you put pressure on the pen when doing it, it makes the paint more bold, thicker, and so forth!. Well, when I lightly stroked the pen, it would come up like I had applied the most pressure possible on the paint box test thing!. Now it is basically on the hardest pressure as it's default for no matter how much pressure I apply when painting or drawing on painter essentials 4!.

Can this problem be fixed!? Is it something simple that is wrong!? Will I need to take it back and get a new one!?

Informative answers very much appreciated!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Before anything, try restarting your computer!. This usually fixes any of my Intuos3 issues!.
Other than that, check the settings! Go to Start - Control Panel - Printers and Other Hardware - Tablet Properties!. Set everything to default!. The reason it is not matching up with the screen, it's acting like a regular mouse would!. This should fix the problem, if not, go to wacom!.com and reinstall the tablet!. Hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
