Question:

Hi everyone, currently I am trying to apply to a public gallery exhibition for the first time ever!. The gallery asked me to provide a brief written description of my artistic practise, apart' from a Resume or CV!.

I was wondering if anyone else have had to create one before and what is described in it!? Are they interested in the process or philosophy!? I guess, the philosophy end of it would be in the artist statement,!.!.!.!.I'm so confused!
Any way if anyone can drop there thoughts on this, it would be a great help!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Artists practice is anything about the how's and why's of the artmaking process!. The ideas, choices, your intentions as well as your technique/process/media!. It encompasses all that surrounds your artmaking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

just anything that you feel, all of your emotions that go into a painting!. you don't even need to make it sound epic or anything, just the process you use and what your paintings mean to YOU!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
