Depends what the project is honey!
These come to mind: Futura Light, Nobel, Twentieth Century, I think something kinda geometric and thin is always sorta 1920s but not in your face about it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are so many types of distinctively 20s fonts that it would be hard to make a suggestion!. You can get very ornate display fonts and very austere body fonts!.

You should probably try searching 20s or 1920s or Deco or Arts & Crafts on some free font sites!.

There is one site that I really love for retro fonts - Nick's Fonts!. Here's the link http://www!.nicksfonts!.com/ You need to go to Browse Fonts and then look at Period and go from there!. I think there may be some free fonts, but most of them you have to pay for!. However, they are in the $5 to $15 range!. And you buy them from MyFonts!.com which is completely safe and legal!.

If nothing else, Nick's is an awesome reference site!.

EDIT: I lied - I was just picking around on Nick's since I haven't been there in a while and it looks like the fonts are closer to $20!. Which is still pretty cheap for a font!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

American Typewriter, since that's what someone of this time period would write on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
