The answer is actually pretty complex!. You learn to draw and you will learn to draw people!. Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards is a good place to start, as mentioned above!. Go to your library and talk to the librarian about it!. If they don't have it they can get it through inter-library loan!. I also recommend, strongly, Kimon Nikolaides's The Natural Way to Draw!. Again!. Go to the library and talk to your librarian about it!. If either book is useful to you, then save your pennies and buy it!. You will probably be using it for decades, like the rest of us!.

I would suggest just trying to make really simple sketches of people by looking at some figures online and their poses!. That helps sometimes and practice!? also, maybe trying to draw things other than people might help if you need help before drawing figures!. Just simple poses of stick figures can help at first and then you can go back and add more details!. :) I hope this help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, I took a course in it, the answer is stick figures!.!.!. I can't really demonstrate but I'll attach a link when I find one, because the drawing's body doesn't matter, it is just something to draw the clothes over, but the fact of the matter is that !.!.!. that is what drawing is, just drawing clothing over stick limbs!.!.!. draw square hands and feet and shape them in the box that you draw and the face it just an oval at first!.!.!. then its like a mr potato head!.!.!. I know it sounds weird, but this is how they taught me!. I'll look for a basic drawing for you!. and perhaps instructions!.
