While it is fun/awe-inspiring, by removing them you deny archaeologists the opportunity of looking at the context of the artifact reducing its historical value!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hey, W!.!!! i just happend to find lots of tools and arrow heads 2 weeks ago around buffalo wells, a 10,000 year old ancient native indian hunting ground near Christmas Valley, Oregon!.!.!.that's where my dad lives!. Any way, i kept tooled shards of obsidian and took pictures of the rest and buried them!. i also went to an ancient camp not too far from there and found some amazing scrapers, an ax head, and more arrow heads!. it is a fond hobby of mine!.!.!.i love to visualize how these people must have lived!. it makes me appreciate my life so much!. just to have a washer and dryer or running water is such a blessing!.

I do!. My father found many arrow heads when he would plow his garden around here!. So I am always on the look out for more!.

also, my husband and I use to go to a place called Moccasin Snake Road (never knew the real name) and look for arrow heads by the creek!. After a rain you could find all kinds of Indian Artifacts!. Most were broken but it was still fun!.
