Fhotoace has linked to Ken Rockwell's site so often that it's getting hard to tell them apart ;-)

Ken Rockwell's target audience is new users!. Rockwell has a knack for explaining things with great simplicity and enthusiasm, and his site has helped thousands of people to make buying decisions or simply understand digital phgotography a little bit better!. The down side is that his writing style makes his site nearly useless for advanced users!. He can indeed come across as a Nikon fanboi and his occasional over-simplifications and misinformation can be stunning!. Personally, I don't use his site unless as a second or even third opinion - and even then I take his articles with a grain of salt!. For alternatives, see some of my own go-to sites in my profile information!.

Give me Fhotoace any day!. He knows his stuff at least as well as Rockwell (probably better - unlike Ken Rockwell, Fhotoace is professional photographer), he's just as generous with his information, and he doesn't assume that his readers are idiots!Www@QuestionHome@Com

have you actually read his site!? i thought it was good till i read it, mr ace is a reliable source, rearly wrong and does his best in an uncommercial type way,

on the rear occasions he makes an oversight all the trolls come out - as if they are right all the time

Fotoace IS Ken!. What I want to know is sometimes I'm up at 6 am and I just pop in here before going to work and I already see answers by Fotoace posted as "2 hours ago"!. Where the heck is he located and why is he up and about so early in the morning!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I enjoy reading and learning from both!. I do not always follow thier advice and that may at times be a mistake on my part!. But I do respect what they and its obvious they both have used what they talk about!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fotoace is better photographer, and after reading Rockwell site he would rather have a SB400 then a SB800 or SB900 his credibly went down the tubes where I'm concern!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
