I'd pay more attention to depth of field, composition and involvement, as well as perspective!. If a background isn't relevant to the shot, focus where you can remove or eliminate it, or blur it so it's not the central point of focus - that should always ne your subject!.

Don't be afraid to be creative and take chances with your shots - something that's a lot easier and quite less expensive to do these days with digital!. Try shooting some people; women are always a good choice as they're usually very expressive and love having their photos taken!.

Overall, go for involvement!. Anyone can take a snapshot!. A photograph is an entirely different thing!.

I loved cliche, perspective and menace, although menace could have had a more dominant subject!. I think the rest of the pictures were good but not great!. Pay careful mind to when your shooting to brace yourself and camera!.!.!.with a tripod and maybe a remote shutter release!. That will minimize any camera shake (blur)!. I would try to work on shots that are out of the ordinary, maybe like the reflection of you shooting the picture in the dogs eye (of course if you can get him/her to sit still long enough)!. I like Perspective the best!. I shows planning of perspective and it looks like you might have used the distort function in Photoshop!. The B&W emphasizes texture and detail!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I personally like the last three pictures the best!.
I like cliche the most though, I think that your pics are pretty good though but of course you'll get better over time and with practice!.
