This is my must have list when I photograph a wedding:

Bride and Groom
Bride and Groom with his parents
Bride and Groom with her parents
Bride and Groom with all family
Bride and Groom with bridal party

I would suggest not making your list too long!. The more time people have to stand and wait around the more irritable people (naturally) tend to get!. also, it eliminates the time you have to interact with family and friends - specifically those who have traveled from great distances!.

Talk with your photographer about how he/she structures their shooting time!. They will have suggestions for your schedule as far as the after ceremony family formal photographs!.

Lastly, if you're willing to be flexible I highly recommend photographing your formals before the ceremony!. Most photographers can arrange for this to be a special time between you and your future spouse and can create amazing images!. Photographing formals beforehand also allows for greater flexibility with your schedule after the ceremony!.

Congratulations and best of luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nothing wrong with the previous answers!. Start with the larger groups and as you're done with people excuse them to the reception to get them out of the way so you can do your job with less interference and faster!. No use keeping everybody from enjoying the day by holding them for photos if they don't need to be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You will want at least the following:

Bride alone
Groom alone
Bride with her parents
Groom with his parents
Bride with attendants
Bride with maid of honor
Bride with flower girl/and or mini-bride
Bride with Father
Groom with his attendants
Groom with best man
Groom with his mother
Bride with her family
Groom with his family
Bride & Groom with Brides family
Bride & Groom with Grooms family
Bride & Groom
Father giving bride away
Bride & Groom exchanging vows
Bride & Groom lighting unity candle
Bride & Groom kissing
Bride & Groom leaving church

These are just the main shots I that you should want!. Be sure when the photography takes your photos alone to get photos of you in all angles so you have photos from the front & back with the train of your dress nicely places around you!.
