Question: How much should I charge for my photograph!?
I recently submitted a photo for an art exhibit!. They requested that we put whether or not the photo is for sale!. I chose for sale, but I'm unsure on how much to charge if I have any interested buyers!. I am a very amateur photographer, so I doubt anyone will offer, but I want to make sure I'm prepared just in case!.
Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need to do a little research and figure out what it cost you!. Before you even consider what to sell it for figure out exactly what it cost you!.
Then look around at other similar pieces in the exhibit and see what they cost!. When setting your prices you need to be able to cover your costs and make a profit!. I would say your best bet is to keep your prices close to what the competition is!. To high or to low and people will wonder why!. Before anyone could give you a suggested price we would want more info!. For example the size, is it matted and framed or just matted!. Is it an archival quality print or did you print it at home from a $200 photo printer!. This info is crucial to figure out what a good price would be!. Being able to see the photo would be good as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

depends on how much printing, framing and mating is!. I would do twice as much as that as its not the best photo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The last photo I purchased from a gallery I paid $1,500 for a framed 16x20 inch black and white printWww@QuestionHome@Com
