Question: How do you make realistic avi pics with for imvu using gimp!?

please help me out here!! i have asked around and everyone wants me to pay credits for THEM to do it! but i want to do my OWN avi pic!.!.!.make sence right!?! i want to know how to make it on GIMP not photo shop or any other crap please just help me out here :D -and please dont make is super complicated :D-Www@QuestionHome@Com

avi term is more so used for video extension and can be confusing to others,

you can design any avatar or other signature items with gimp, time is required, for imvu you can use you image to based re-design with and continue to edit features,
~ with gimp you want to use pen tool to draw line drawing, and convert to stroke, and use layers for colors and gradients, the airbrush tool would be good for applying gradual blends,
