Question: A2 level art help - what makes a piece of art controversial!?
I have chosen this question for my A2 level art course, and i was just hoping for some 'inspiration'!. I have a number of ideas and artists lined up but i find it's always helpful to hear other peoples ideas and opinions!.

The main thing i'm stuck for is 'observational drawing', the ideas that i already have don't really provide a good basis for observational drawing!.

thanks : )Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you think about the most controversial pieces of art, Duchamp's Fountain, anything by Pollock, Rauschenberg's White Painting!.!.!. these all pushed the boundaries of traditional art!. How can a urinal turned upside down be considered sculpture!? Controversial art is made to start speculation!. I believe these artists just wanted their stuff talked about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
