i dont think so!. A level requires the use of a 35mm with manual control!.!.or how will you ever learn about depth of field and how film reacts to given situations, and indeed how to develop it, and produce prints!.!.!.

100 quid will buy you a half decent 35mm camera!. 100 quid wont get anything decent in a Dslr!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should have no problem getting a used 35mm Canon or Nikon 35mm camera for 100 pounds!. Here in the States they go for anywhere between $50-$200!. Which if I am correct is about 100 pounds!. Some cameras to look at would be the following!. The European names might be a little different but you will get the point!.

I understand that you will be using both 35 mm and DSLR's throughout your course work!. Buying either a Nikon or Canon will have you ready for a good DSLR when you need to buy one

Both Nikon and Canon 35 mm SLR's with a standard zoom are available for under £100 some even in the £30 range

Sample of such a camera in my area
