I don't plan on buying this!. Just imagine how many pictures would be lost if something were to go wrong!.!.!. it happens! I'll just stick to carrying around a bunch of 2GB cards!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well it's actually cheaper than buying the same storage with several cards!. I have 4 gig cards and I pay about 60 bucks per card ( CF type1)!.

The problem I see is that if you fill the things up, it will take forever to get the info out of them!. I have a very fast puter and it still takes a lot of time to empty the card-- I do shoot in RAW though!. If I shot in JPEG that could be a ton of images (over 10,000 shots), and lets say something happened to the card!. You could lose a months worth of work!.

The only advantages I see with the card are mainly for video, and of course all that room for a smaller price than many cards, but those things can be a disadvantage too when if comes to putting all your gold in one pot!.

More that likely knowing how the world is, it will gradually become the norm!.!. Remember when it was just 10 years ago we were still using film and we had a max of 36 shots per roll!.-- Don't get me wrong though, I think film is still a huge presence and is usually a superior productWww@QuestionHome@Com

Let's not forget that there are digital cameras with much larger sensors than our typical point-n-shoots or dslrs!. The newly announced Leaf, Hasselblad, and Phase One backs are in the 60-megapixel range!. For those folks (with $50,000 to spend on a camera), the 32 GB card is probably welcome news!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Professionals with deep pockets who shoot RAW who don't want to fuss about changing cards in the field!. Risky b/c you may be putting a whole shoot on one card and if that card fails, it could be disastrous!. I'd stick with the 4 gig and even 8 is pushing my comfort level!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd buy it just because its the biggest that you can get!. They just recently came out with a External Hard Drive that is 1 Terabyte, I want it just because its the biggest! Theres no way I'd ever fill it up!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some people might buy it but I'd rather have multiple cards of 1 or 2 GB capacity!.!.!. just in case I loose some I will not loose a whole event and get sued overWww@QuestionHome@Com
