It's a japanese word, offically spelled "boke"!. (The 'h' was added so people didn't pronouce like joke)!.

Good grief, people!. It's not that hard a word!. Bo-kah or, if you prefer, bo-kuh!. It does not rhyme with bouquet!.

Asking a southern guy to pronounce japanese terms is probably a recipe for disaster!. I was always told it was pronouned "bo-ke"
