Yup, I sure have! When you're a photo student and on a tight budget, you don't have much of a choice!. You gotta do what you gotta do!.

I haven't had any problems returning!. As long as it's still in new-like condition and you have the reciept, there shouldn't be a problem!. also remember to keep going to different stores!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have to agree with Edwin!. If you want something, get it!. If you know you can't afford it, save up until you can!. I've never done this, i've never thought of it!. It would be to risky!. also, you're not being far to the store!. Ask edwin says, they can't sell it new Anymore, they have places where you can rent digital SLR's and equipment!.

You're missing with their income!. also, what will you do, if you drop the camera, and it becomes blemished!? you can't take it back to them, you can't get your money back!. What if the store doesn't have a return policy!? you'll be in hot water!. I don't think it's morally right!. That's like going to a clothing store, wearing an 80$ dress, and returning it the next day because you only needed it once!. Is that really right to do !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its very unethical and WRONG!. The store is stuck with "open box" merchandise which they can't sell as new so it has to be discounted!.
A smart store owner will charge a minimum 25% re-stocking fee!.

Just ask about renting the equipment so you can be an honest, ethical person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no as a photographer i trade on my name, having a name as someone without a few dollars for props would be a bad look i think

oh and i have morals and empathise for the people in the store and people in all parts of the world, mostly i feel for those like you that will have karma kiss them back one day

best wishes :)

the po for nowWww@QuestionHome@Com

I've done it a couple of times, and I always feel guilty!. I don't think it's wrong, but it is borderline!. Be prepared for the store to say that they'll only give you store credit and not cash back!. Stores are getting really tricky with their policies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That is pretty funny, I would not feel right doing it, well not the first time anyway I guess if I kept it up I could learn to live with it!.
Very innovative if your images reflect your creativity you will be rich enough to keep the equipment in no time!.
All the best :) Www@QuestionHome@Com
