What kind of ink would stay well on canvas?

Question: What kind of ink would stay well on canvas!?

I've got white, canvas Converse hi-tops and I want to draw on them with black ink!. Should I use a paint pen!? What will stay!? I mean, obviously I wont be wearing them very often, as to preserve the art on them, but I don't want the ink/paint to bleed or spread!.

Sharpie permanent laundry markers!.

India/Indian ink its mostly used for drawing!. you can buy it at any craft type store!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
