I've been thinking about uploading my photos to Flickr!.!.!.!.mostly because it's so popular and there's a lot of people, but is it worth it!? I already store all of my photos (professional and family/friend photos) in Picasa Web Albums, I also have a DeviantArt gallery, and a Blogger photoblog!. Is it worth all of the trouble!?

The uploader works really easy and lets you upload tons of pictures at once, so you won't have to keep going back and forth like on some websites!. I'd definately get it, the benefits are huge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Get the flickr account, it makes the photos look better, in my opinion!. also, with flickr, you also have the picnik editing solution ( you could also use it with other sites, picasa not included ) Having a flickr account is just better, and used more by a lot of photographers, both amateur and professional!. I can't stand Picasa, because of the graphics, and how it makes the photos look, this is my Pro flickr account ( the payed for version, but you don't have to pay for it, the free version is fine, you just can't go over 100mb per month, which isn't enough for some photographers ) http://flickr!.com/photos/27145979@N02/ I think the layout of flickr is better too!. Flickr is free, unless you pay for it, which you don't have too!. Only if you want to upload larger files, and a lot of them!. You say ' trouble ' what trouble!? i haven't had any trouble, it's real fun and easy, and makes your photographs look more professional!. Www@QuestionHome@Com since you have yahoo, you can use flickr for free to share photos anyways, if you want you can use pro account for photography and video clips if needed, if you have others sites for images, flickr can be added to list for other uses throughout web, ~reminder to backup images on cd/dvd, !.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I'm not much of a fan, I spend more time on dA myself!. But I will say that flickr's groups are more accessible and the atmosphere of the community more down to earth than at dA!. I also have a flickr account that I should tidy up!. I like it because you meet a lot of people there , there are groups you can join , and you can get on explore which will get your images noticed !.
