Question: How do you respond to the abundant spamming in the Photography section!? !?
Do non answers with links to blogs, bookstores or web pages encourage you to view their site or use their products or does it turn you off to them!? Do you ignore them!? Do you report them!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If they are advertising a website, I usually report the answer!. The ones that I really hate are the "get rich fast" answers!. Do they think we can't spot a scam from a mile off!?

I link to a website that explains how some things are done in photoshop, like selective coloring (of course, I created this site)!. I know that site might help them by showing the process step-by-step!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, the viral marketing for the online photo editors are truly annoying, too!. The "how do I make one part of a black-and-white picture in color" with the immediate response that points to a certain website that has bad spelling of an outdoor event where one eats food out of a basket and ants are sure to visit!.

You don't mention the questions!. Such as the questions posted to the photography section that aren't really questions about photography but are about !.!.!. hey !.!.!. THIS question isn't about photography!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I definitely report!. I hate when I get answers from 13 year olds trying to build points just redirecting me to a page they found on google!. ANYONE can use a search engine!.

My all-time annoyance in this category is the irrelevant questions!. Questions about myspace, modeling, or the infamous, "Am I pretty!!?!!?!!?!"

FOR THE LAST TIME!.!.!. This category is Photography under ARTS!. I definitely think there needs to be more categories or restrictions or something! It turns me off so much I don't even bother reading most questions!.

And if I see one more "How's my photography" question with 40 pictures of cats and flowers!.!. I just might scream!. =PWww@QuestionHome@Com

Thank you, DC! The selective color thing is asked about here at least 50 times a day!. I'll bet anyone whatever money is in my wallet right now, that same exact question will be posted within an hour of me typing this!.

The whole selective color thing is a total cliche and there is nothing original or creative about it anymore!. And it ruins black and white photos!. I also don't understand why people just can't do a search of the Q&A and find it, since I'm sure that question has been answered over a thousand times by now!. Of course, I pointed all this out in another question and my answer got voted two thumbs down!.!.!.probably more now!. Oh well!. Everyone is getting sick of them (except maybe some of the MySpacer's)!.

But yeah, I'm beginning to get a little suspicious too!. It kind of makes me wonder if some of those "editing" sites might be planting a few people here!. Then it's a self-feeding fad!. It's the gift of spam that just keeps giving!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've never really seen that on this section, or any section in general!. I wouldn't report it, i would just ignore it, we all know how ' special ' some people are these days

Oh, did you forget about the pictures!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I find them irritating but just ignore them!. I would never use them as any reputable company would never advertise like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's annoying, I just tend to ignore them!. I suppose I should report them, I guess it doesn't worry me that much!. Perhaps I'm being too apathetic about it !?Www@QuestionHome@Com
