Question: For my resume, how can I list that one of my photographs was used on a website that's no longer active!?
Hey

I'm writing a resume for my transfer into college, an art program, that I'd like to attend!. And I want to list on my resume that a photograph of mine was used on a site; though this site is no longer active!. Is there anyway I can list this!? Thanks for any help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use it, it was published!. You may find the website on the Wayback Machine: http://www!.archive!.org/web/web!.php which would give you a third-party link!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

have you tried searching googles cached pages for it!. Put in the website!. If your lucky you will have something, but instead of just following the link theres a little link bellow the link that says cached!. That will bring up previous pages that google has saved!.

Other than that I wouldnt even try!. The school examiner may look at it as an unsubstantiated source and dismiss it as if it didnt exist!.

EDIT:

I like NameDeleted's answer better!. Thumbs up to him/her!.

Having a seperate website showing the pic/info that your after would be best as it would be "proveable"!. You could doctor a fake webpage on a thumbdrive and these are educated folks you are dealing with here!. You will need to show proof!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
