If you're not interested in painting, sculpture etc, then Fine Art probably isn't for you - I would recommend a degree in Illustration, which focuses heavily on drawing skills and usually enables you to work in your own styles as much as you wish!. My experience with university level Illustration classes suggests that an emphasis on tattoo designs would fit into that just fine!. (also, you're right that it will give you increased respectability as a tattoo artist to have drawing qualifications, and it will give you a good portfolio of work to impress clients when you are starting out too)!.

You really need to do some of your own research, though - individual art schools will offer different kinds of courses with focus on different things (and they often give things different names too), so you should look up the art schools in your area and send for prospectuses or read the course descriptions on their websites to decide which is best for you!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
