Question: Whats the best software for logo design!?
Hey - I'm 13 (young, I know!) and would like to know what software is best for logo design - photoshop CS3 or illustrator!? Or any other software!?

Thanks

PS> Do I need any additional hardware, or is a mouse enough!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

illustrator or draw would be best for all around logo design, over photo editors, vector images are resizeable, where pixels images are not,

I use Illustrator CS3 and CorelDraw 12 to do my logo designs!. They are vector based programs and will allow you to increase or decrease sizes without loss of resolution!. Photoshop is a raster based program and will become pixelated if you increase the designs size!.

You can use a mouse to create your designs or if you want to throw down some cash, you can get a Wacom tablet to do your drawings on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hey man,
i'd use illustrator, hands-down!. logos should be designed as vector graphics, which is what illustrator's all about!. good luck! it's sweet that you're getting into this kind of art at 13!.

edit: forgot to say, a mouse will do just fine, but i enjoy using a wacom tablet, personally!. it is easier to draw with, but you don't have to have one by any means!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
