Question: Help with editing photos!?

I've always loved taking pictures!. Well now I want to learn how to edit the pictures!. I've got Photoshop, but have NO idea where to begin! :( Any suggestions!? I'm enrolling in a Photoshop course that's going on in a few months, but I have some Photos I need to edit now!. Can anyone point me in the right direction!?!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you have photoshop elements you want to get the photoshop elements book by Scott Kelby It gives great step by step instructions for most of the common things you will do
He also has books on Photoshop CS
