I think you should open up the competition to include all the 'looking through the viewfinder so the viewer can only see half of my face' photographer self-portraits out there!. Hmmm!.!.!.seems as if a lot of people have copied your strikingly original concept!. I'll be darned!.
Maybe you could narrow down the field a little by just including 'Photographer's self-portraits looking through the camera where you can only see one eye in 2006' or something!.!.!.or use a style of self-portrait that is a little less dog-eared, so to speak:
