Question: Haw many pigments does the color Pink have!.!.!.!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
If you start from three primary colors, plus white and black for changing saturation, you can make any color with two colors plus either black or white!.

If you are starting from pure, natural pigments, such as indigo, then it really depends on your starting materials!.

The simplest answer is red and white (if you are trying to mix pink from basic color paints)!. Many different hues of pink paint are available (in oil, acrylic, ect!.); you would have to look on the paint tube to see what natural or synthetic pigments they use!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Generally, pink is an unsaturated red!. Other words, a red that is less intense!. As a watercolor painter, I use an unsaturated quinacridone red wash to make pink!.
Virtually any red could be pink!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Probably as many pigments as it needs!. More white pigments than red pigments I would imagine!.
