Question: Is there a spray paint that looks like its real metal!?

i've been asked to make a mask that looks metallic, but am skeptical about making it out of metal!. i was wondering if there is a spray paint that kind of looks like silver!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no true metal/ chrome spay paint, unfortunately they all look like metal/ silver paint, although some look OK(ish)!.

I have made a realistic 'metal' by painting a cast piece of plaster (but I think most things would work), with 'Zeebo', which is a 'fire grate paint', then using ground graphite,(from a graphite stick, via a pencil sharpener), and black boot polish!. Rubbing it hard gives a good metallic sheen,not unlike shiny cast steel/ iron!.

There is a 'metal cote' paint by Humbrol, which, when dry can be polished and looks like real metal!.
