ok like i like to draw manga but i need help about it!. it's the shadowing and hands!. i think that the shadowing is sorta hard (shadowing on the clothes not on the ground)!. can anyone show me how to shadow and stuff please!?!? thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

its called shading first off!. and its all to do with the direction the light is coming from!. so if the light is coming from the top right hand corner then the shadow of the character will b cast on the left side of the character!. to best understand this find a desk lamp where u can control the light directionality and a ball or apple!. place the apple on a table then point the light on its right side u should c a shadow form on its left side!. if u want to better understand shadows i suggest a beginners drawing book (pencil)!. hands r hard as well practicing from real life is the best way!. put ur hands in diff positions and try drawing them!. once u get better try hard more extreme positions!. good luck and happy drawing!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
