I'm a great drawer/artist, but I can't figure out how people create things like this on the computer!.
Is it PhotoShop!?
Or some other program!?
I don't get it!

It was hand drawn and scanned (can see the digital artifacts that's seen in scanning)!.

To do something like that in PS would require a heavy amount of gradient effects, along with blending and burn tools!.

Much easier to do by hand (faster and more intricate than even a tablet -- can't get fine shading with them yet)!. All you'll need is a pencil; and some water markers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

IF it was done on Photoshop, I can see where much of it could be done with the airbrush tool!. and, perhaps, some soft edged brushes, built up gradually!.

The thing is, it is not just the specific tool or filter that creates an effect, it is the skill of the operator in USING the application that determines success!.

So, when I answered that the artist may have used the airbush tool, what remains is EXACTLY where the tool was used, and at what pressure, and with what color, and in what direction and speed, and how many strokes and in combination with which OTHER tools and features!?

It looks like he drew it either on paper or with a tablet and colored it in photoshop or paint shop pro!.

You will need to get a drawing tablet if you want to draw on the computer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think they draw it on hand, and then scan via scanner and after that photoshop it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
