They all have snapshot written all over them!. Nothing wrong with that, but to get professional looking photos you have to set up your shot by paying attention to the light and shadows and how they interact with each other!. When taking pictures of people and pets focus on the eyes!. Get in as close as you can without causing any distortion!. For pets try catch them doing something unique or interesting!. The best time is for photos of any kind is early morning or later in the day near the dusk or twilight!. lets look at this one- just picked it at random:

This is under exposed!. The background is distracting!. Alot of the detail is lost due to the under exposure!. I do like the puppy's expression but his position seems unnatural!. also when photographing pets and children you want to get down on their eye level!. also he should be farther to left in the frame and lower in the frame!. also he is too close to the wall, subj should be 3-4 feet from backdrops or walls!. I think if you had used flash here there would have harsh shadows on the wall!.
As stated these are good snap shots but I think you want to do more than that I think you are a good photographer and I think you have an eye for it- just need to develop your eye and learn how to see what you are looking at and learn how to control the camera!. Keep shooting (the camera that is) and happy clicking! Www@QuestionHome@Com
