Hey!!!!

Technically you dont need any qualifications if you are going to be woring for yourself!.!.!.however, most photographers establish themselve within a company first in which case you will need qualifications!.

Are you from the uk!?
You can get ur GCSE's at school, and then do photography for A Level alongside 2 other subjects (i know because i did this, i did Media studies, Psycology and photography) After you get your A levels if its something you really want to do, you could go to university to get even further education like a degree or something!

Pay COMPLETLEY depends on how good you are, if your just starting out, it will prbs be average-poor wage, but the better you get the more you earn, and if u own your own buisness or for a magazine or summat!.!.!.!.youll be rolling in it!!!

I didnt wanna be a photographer but i was interessted in photography and it was a really fun interessting hands on class!!

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think that qualifications are of any value in themselves!. The only true indicator of your skill is your photographs!. If you can produce the goods under pressure then you have a career!. To answer your question about pay I would say that your income has to do with the type of photography you get yourself into!. Some photographers can get huge incomes because they are the best!. Very few achieve that status!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It really depends on what type of photography you want to do!. Photo-journalism, product advertisement, fashion, portrait, etc!. The thing about photography is that you are judged on your work, not what degree you have, or what classes you've taken!. Classes are a good way to learn the technical aspects as well as having your work critiqued, but nothing beats real world experience!. TAKE PICTURES CONSTANTLY!. Another thing to remember is in order to be successful, you need to have your photos stand out!. You need to have a unique perspective!. As far as jobs go, again, it depends on what area you are looking to go into!. Unfortunately most major magazines no longer have staff photographers, they use free lance photogs!. A photo-journalist for a small newspaper can expect to make in the low to mid 20s starting out!. It's not about the money, its about the passion of taking photographs and having your work seen!. A few lucky ones will make some big bucks though!. Good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Why not major in photography!? Some schools do offer this a major (look into major art schools, or larger universities)!. You can always have a minor in business if you want to start your own photography business!. If you think it's something you just want to do as a hobby, minor in photography and major in something else! Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can go with schooling or experience!.
There are schools like Art Inst or Brooks in Santa Barbara that specialize in this!.
Or
While studying whatever you are going to college for!.!.!. Pay the bills with some photo work!.!.!. Get a job and learn from them, even though you take good pix now, you will improve by shadowing someone!. Look on Craigslist under Gigs!. There are always people looking for a second shooter at weddings and models looking for portfolios!. You may have to do one for free to prove yourself, but word of mouth is amazingWww@QuestionHome@Com

depends what type of photography you want to do!. Taking courses and building a portfolio will always help!.

I did school portraits when i was 18!. all i was recquired to do was get trained by the company!. They're nationwide!.!.!.Lifetouch!.!.!.check out a website!. It was funny but takes a toll on your vehicle because you have to travel to the differnt schools!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should be able to take a class or two at high school!. you just need to learn from someone who has talent!. it is an art , just like any other !.You will need to put together a portfolio!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
