Question: A friend of mine has some Norman Rockwell!.!.!.
!.!.!.memorabilia, and we've been unable to find anyplace or anyone who has these particular items!. Here are the details:

1!. The items are (roughly) 2!.5"x3!.5" "plaques" with images of Norman Rockwell's covers from the Post!.

2!. The plaques are made of cork board or particle board, and have a small hole on the reverse side as if for hanging them on a wall!.

Does anyone own similar items!? If you do, can you tell me if theses things are worth anything or, at the very least, where I can go online to find a comprehensive guide to Norman Rockwell stuff!?

Thanks all!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Popular art, especially by magazine cover artists like Rockwell and Maxfield Parrish, have been reproduced on just about everything from playing cards to T!.V!. trays! I suspect your plaques are nothing more than decorative items intended for the market!. Sketches, limited editions prints, notebooks, and artist's proofs are the most valued collectible items, right after original paintings, of course!.

Just google "Norman Rockwell collectibles" for pages of links to things that may be of value related to this American art icon!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

As works of art they would be worthless to any collector of original art because they are just scaled down reproductions of original art!.

However, there are plenty of collectors of all kinds of memorabilia, from Rockwell to depression Era glass, etc!. I suggest you try going on E-Bay and use the keywords 'Norman Rockwell' and/or 'Collector's Editions!.' I'm pretty sure you'll find such memorabilia listed there and it will give you an idea of how much they're worth to collectors!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
