I don't know how to answer your question fully because i don't know what your style of drawing is or your media but!. i do know quite a lot about drawing hands!. You should try to slightly exaggerate the knuckles and put great detail in to the creases and textures of the skin!. it might seem to you that the hands look old but it actually makes the picture look more life like!.
