Question: Which color to mixed to get gold color
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I think you could get the colour by mixing yellow with grey, or, in other words, with black and white!. If you wish to give it a stronger value, try adding a bit of red or orange!. Just keep experimenting in small steps!. Because gold tends to be foremost a dull yellow colour and muted tones have grey in them, this type of mixture should work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is best not to mix any colors to get an object you are painting to appear gold!. Where the light hits, it should be white, representing a reflected highlight, a light yellow would be used for the gold color and the shadow should be a yellow ocher with a hint of orange or warm red!. If the gold object is on a surface of color, that color should be reflected in that gold object closest to the surface!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
