Try to expand your range!. Be more self-critical!. Don't take pictures in boring, flat, overhead light in the middle of the day!. Keep your horizons level!. Set yourself a project doing a subject you like and have empathy with!. Take 100 pictures for this project and edit them down to the ten best!. Do this for yourself; don't ask for opinions here!. Be ruthless with yourself!. Look at lots of books by photographers who you admire!. Try to work out what makes their shots successful!. You will have heard of the Rule of Thirds; find out other ways of leading the viewer's eye into and round a photograph!. Respect the rules of composition, but learn when to break them creatively!. Don't become formulaic in your approach!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look at good photographers' photography!. Observe the world around you!.

Perhaps take pictures from a more original angle and take more pictures in the morning/afternoon when the light is really pretty!. It'll make your mediocre shots really beautiful!. Frame shots creatively, differently!. Make them special instead of just "oh this is a picture of a flower!." :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

the '"dead center" problem' is definitely something that is making your photos less appealing!. try different angles and use the rule of thirds!. some of your photos too are kinda of boring!? Different lighting and editing can help with that!. keep practising:)Www@QuestionHome@Com
