Question: Removing color from a picture
i found a lot of amazing pictures in a catalog (so its on paper, not the glossy 4x6 photographs) but they're all in color!. i want them all to be black and white!. is there any way that this could be done!? i've heard something about leaving it in the sun for a really long time or something like that!. any ideas would be appreciated!

Digitally you can scan the color images and then use software such as GIMP, Irfanview, or Elements to "Grayscale" or "desaturate" a color image to Black and White!.

If you are looking to add a "vintage" or "faded" look to the images the sun will work!.!.!.and it will work much faster than you realize!. Keep an eye on it!.

It will not produce "Black and White" though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Acually, i think the sun will melt the ink!.!.!. But if you leave it under light, the colors will fade so it's possible that you will get black and white photos!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

can you scan them and then just change them to black and white!?!? Leaving them in the sun may fade them, but don't think it will change them to black and white!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Scan them!. Convert to Black & White in most any photo program!. Print!.

Really a bit easier faster better than hoping the sun fades them to nada!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
