Question: Good photo paper for traditional artwork prints!?
I'm an artist and I do oil paintings and mixed media artwork (pencil, ink, watercolor, acrylic etc!.)!. I've been offering some of my work as limited edition fine art giclee prints but I want to also start offering some more reasonably open edition priced photo prints as well!. What what be a good photo paper to do this with!? I've been looking into HP Premium Plus Photo Paper, has anyone used this paper for printing traditional artwork rather than photography!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Rather than gloss, I would suggest using a matte finish photo paper, and, you should invest in better inks than the standard ones the are normally used in ink jets!. Check with a specialty camera store for water resistant, archival inks and papers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i hate the gloss for mixed media prints!. i used to experiment with an inkjet and regular printmaking quality paper!. cheaper stuff, stonehenge!.!.!. like that!.

but if you want the glossy, photo paper, i used hp with a good printer and it was fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
