well!.!.!.i think they're nothing special!.!.!.i think if you use flash!.!.!.it really takes away from it!.!.!.like in the frog shot!.!.!.it just takes away from the colors!.!.!.and such!. I also think you should maybe try to move in closer!.!.!.and try to capture it close up! it gets lost amoungst the other surroundings!. I understand you maybe have a point and shoot camera!.!.!.but that's what the challenge with photography!.!.!.is capturing it just right!.!.!.you can capture a million photo's of butterflies!.!.!.but that doesn't mean they will all be beautiful!.!.!.i personally shoot!.!.!.without exageration!.!.!.about 1400 photo's in one session!.!.!.and probably am only fortunate to capture 30-40 good ones!.!.!.if that!.!.!.

As for your other shots!.!.!.focus on something!.!.!.something that stands out!. Right now, your photo's just seem to be!.!.!.just there!.!.!.try to focus on a tree!.!.!.or a flower!.!.!.shoot some macro shots!. I started out with a point and shoot and have was able to shoot some decent photography!. I've now moved very up over the years and own a dslr!.!.!.and am a semi-pro photographer!. Your passion for wanting to be good is a great start to photography!. Now you can focus on getting better!. Perhaps take a class at a community college!. Sometimes!.!.!.for high school students!.!.!.the college will give the class for free!. If you're not in high school!.!.!.then their normally not that expensive!. Good luck!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am somewhat of a hobbyist nature photographer myself (although I would love to and very well might go pro see my flickr at http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/photoguy22/!.!.!. what I have managed to learn on my own has been that you should look for good spots during late morning to early evening and then take pictures in what are called the golden hours (dawn and dusk) this is when the sun passes through haze and gives golden light which is also more diffused!. And it is best not to use a point and shoot or a built in flash to capture nature photos although it is possible!. An SLR might help you!. Keep working at it, ultimately if you have the gift you will be able to do it easily otherwise it will take a lot of work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!. Make your focal point more!.!.!. focal!. The frog is smack dab in the middle; try using the lines of thirds!. Make the frog a little bigger, it will put more emphasis on it!.
2!. Find something to focus on!. Maybe you could zoom in a little more on the bird, and get it clearer with the background blurry!?
3!. Hmm!.!.!.make it a little more interesting!. It just seems kinda blah!.
4!. Learn to use your light better!. It's cool, but maybe if you back up or change your angle it could be a bit better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The 1st and 3rd ones are much too cluttered!. I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to be looking at because there's so much going on!. The 2nd one would be good if it wasn't so blurry!. It's a nice angle and the composition is good, but too blurry!. The 4th one is good, except the sky is over-exposed!.

How many megapixels your camera has has nothing to do with the quality of your photos!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First one: One rule of thumb in photography is, do NOT use flash!. also is is too small in the photo to be interesting!. I mean, anyone can take this shot!.
Second one: Blurry/Not focused ruins the photo!.
Third one: There is no main point of focus, my eyes kinda wander everywhere because there is no main subject!. Even though I know you're going for the "road/pathway" shot, its just doesn't work out because the greenery isn't that pretty!.
Fourth one: The best of the for!. It's meh, no too special, but not horribly bad!.

Hope this helps and good luck in the future!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you're quite average!. You could probably do better with a better camera, but I don't think the pictures are really that special!.
I'm not saying you're bad, I'm just saying that you are about the same as most people, and they are good photos!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, your pictures are great!. But one word of advice: Get a better camera!. The lowest quality digital that I recommend would be 6!.0 mega pixels!. The higher the better!.
Oh, and when you get a better camera, get a Flickr account!.

I would like to say that wherever you took these, it must have been very peaceful!. Where I am, there is nothing but smog!.

Thank you for sharing them!.

pictures are great, you might want to work a little bit more with focusing or macro mode!. a little bit more on the contrast side and flash is a photographers worst enemy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The last one was the best! : )Www@QuestionHome@Com
