I think they are nice :) Try drawing some more different types of cartoon characters!. So you get a bit variation aswell for learning more styles!. It will all aid you into becoming better at drawing!. I also suggest (just like anyone else) is to learn human anatomy!. Sure just learning that wont make you good at drawing but it will atleast help you out when drawing humans!.

It will also help out when drawing your own creatures that you have come up with yourself, the understanding of how muscles are drawn!. Etc!. I cant say i'm real good at drawing myself!. But im practicing pretty often and someday i hope to be good enough to draw my own manga :)

Oh yeah, it really depends on what kind of style you like to draw the most!. Any is good, I dont see anything thats better then other!. Except that Manga/Anime is easier then Western-style, but for example your roger rabbit is simplier then most anime and manga drawings!.
