Question: What kind of paint can i use that has a pearl like shine to it!?

I'm making a Kairi costume and I'm almost done i just need help with the necklace!.i have everything i need for it except the right type of paint!.her necklace is a pearl and i can't seem to find any paint that has the same shine as one!.please help!

Golden makes an Iridescent Pearl acrylic that works really well!. For a convincing pearl necklace, I'd probably apply several coats over a light gray base coat (since pearls are never pure white)!.

Another option, if you only have one thing that needs to be made "pearly" is to find iridescent pearl nail polish and use that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the type is called "Iridescent" paint!. It's an acrylic and should be obtainable at almost any craft/art supply store!.

Here is a tip!. Use make up!.

Mix the pearl makeup powder with some varnish (or acrylic medium) and apply!. I guarantee you the effect you wantWww@QuestionHome@Com
