I desperately need a part time job in art field,
but I'm not sure if I'm any good at all!.

The thing is, I never had a drawing experience
until this year and I'm not an art major!.

Is my work too amateurish!?

Bottom line, you can get SOME work if you are neat and careful!. That looks like it is neat and careful, but also looks computer generated!. It also looks copied from a photograph!. I would like to see something more clearly drawn using a medium like charcoal or not copied!.

I wouldn't call it amateurish, but if you want a job in the art field, I would actually start in a copy shop and get some training!. On every level, you are up against some formidable talent, and I do not want to denigrate yours -- but there are things about drawing and illustration you still have to learn!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Be prepared for stiff competition, don't expect to just draw a couple of pictures and sit back to wait for offers to come in because there are thousands of us out here!. Get yourself a style, something unique to you and work hard on it as your current work shows potential but nothing new!. Look at contemporary work, see what's going on cd covers or poster work for example!. Have a look at greeting cards, not the fluffy ones but the groovy ones!

i think you should go to the art field!. your work is spectacular and is very very effective!. when you go for the interview they probably are going to ank you the work you've done(paintings etc and especially this picture) and not much of your qualification!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
