I've been using Arcsoft's "Panorama Maker" !.!. it has much better tools for aligning your photos!.!. http://arcsoft!.com !.!.

I use AV mode when shooting panoramas, to keep the aperture and focus constant, I use a tripod and shoot my first frame, to get the focus, then I switch to manual focus, and use a remote when I shoot each frame, overlapping each frame by about 1/4 !.!. I also do not use a circular polarizer!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The best way to do this is to shoot in manual mode with no exposure compensation!. That is, pick your own aperture and shutter speed!. If in doubt, set yourself up in aperture mode, take a sample picture, and use the shutter speed chosen when you switch to manual mode!.

I recommend overlapping your pictures by 25% - 33%!. When you take the first picture, look at what's in the viewfinder 33% of the way off the right edge (or left), pan your camera that direction until that object you picked is now on the left side of your frame, take another, note the position of an object 33% off the edge, repeat!.

As far as getting rid of the blend lines, you might want to try the healing brush!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
